This season of “The Bachelor” has been eventful. Juan Pablo Galavis had a hard decision after the hometown dates but ultimately chose to send Renee Oteri home. Oteri made an impression on America when she shared her story about being a single mom. She connected with Juan Pablo on a parent level that many of the other women did not understand. According to a March 1 report from US Weekly, Renee Oteri is engaged to be married now. Fans were upset that Oteri was not chosen as the new 'Bachelorette,' but now it is clear why.

Renee Oteri was a fan favorite. When she went on the one-on-one date with Juan Pablo and he bought her a dress that was custom-tailored, fans believed she would be the one to win it all. While there was nothing that could have been better, Juan Pablo chose to send her home before the overnight dates. Oteri was devastated but has since moved on. It appears that the man she is engaged to is someone she has known since her son was quite small. They have previously dated and Oteri's family is thrilled about the news.

“The Bachelor: Women Tell All” special is set to air March 3 on ABC and Renee Oteri will be a part of it. It will be interesting to see what she has to say about her time spent with Juan Pablo. There was some intense controversy this season and many of the women have a strong distaste for the man they were trying to win over. Will Oteri be on Juan Pablo's side or does she side with the other women?
