Bachelor alum Melissa Rycroft-Strickland has landed her very own reality show. Cameras will follow the 28 year mother's life in Melissa and Tye: A New Reality, it was announced this week. The reality series will follow the couple as they try to make their marriage, relationship, and family work long distance as Melissa moves from Texas to Hollywood in pursuit of a career in show business.
Melissa and Tye: A New Reality has been picked up by CMT and will reportedly premiere in April 2012. Ryan Seacrest Productions - who's behind such shows as Keeping Up With the Kardashians - will produce the half hour series.
Rycroft, who found sudden fame (and heartbreak) on the 13th season of the Bachelor, later married longtime friend Tye. They have a nearly one year old daughter, Ava Grace.
