Maybe you thought sign language was only for the hearing impaired, or perhaps you thought teaching hearing infants to sign was only possible for stay at home parents. You may have even heard the common myth that teaching hearing infants to sign will delay their language development. Whatever the reason you've held back until now, this workshop will answer your questions and debunk those myths.
From the benefits of signing with hearing infants and toddlers to how to incorporate the Baby Signs program into the childcare setting, Baby Signs Early Childcare Educator Training can give you the tools you need. This workshop includes research-based activities for intellectual and socio-emotional development and the most useful signs to teach and use with infants and toddlers. Plus, if your daycare parents are skeptics, this training will help you inform them on the benefits of signing with hearing infants and ways to get your parents involved in supporting their children's language development. Educators and child care professionals will receive a certificate of completion of 3 clock hours training.
