Playtex is recalling over 1 million pacifier holder clips due to a choking hazard

Due to a choking hazard, Playtex has recalled pacifier holder clips that came in three designs. The potentially dangerous clips are either green with a brown monkey, pink with a flower, or blue with a tow truck. Consumers who own these products should discontinue use immediately.

Playtex has received 99 reports of these pacifier holder clips cracking or breaking. As a small part breaking off is a choking hazard to young children, Playtex is offering a refund to consumers. These pacifier clips were sold at Burlington Coat Factory, Walmart, Target, Amazon.com, and other retailers from July 2010 through October 2013.

Consumers who believe they have one of these pacifier clips should call Playtex toll free at 888- 220-2075 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern, Monday through Friday. Consumers may also
visit www.playtexproducts.com and click on Recall for more information.
