Perez Hilton is a daddy! The blogger opened up about his new son in the March 21 edition of the Los Angeles Times.
Perez, 34, welcomed his baby boy in February via a surrogate. The baby was born four weeks prematurely.
Perez only told his mother, sister, attorney and business manager his plans to have a biological child through surrogacy and egg donation. He is fiercely protecting the identity of the surrogate and has chosen not to know the identity of the egg donor.
Hilton learned the baby was on the way too early as he was walking in to a Pink concert. He got on a plane with his sister and mother and arrived in time for the birth of Mario Armando Lavandeira III. Despite being born early, the baby was healthy and weighed 5 pounds, 9 ounces.
Hilton announced the birth of his son a week later and quickly became a trending topic. Perez even received flowers from Justin Bieber.
