Babies 101: What foods are okay for babies 10, 11 and 12 months old to eat?
Experimenting with variety and getting lots of finger foods in play are key at 10, 11 and 12 months old. Babies this age like to try to feed themselves and it is a good habit to encourage.

At 10 months:
- Add cream cheese, cottage cheese, beans and legumes, cheerios, crackers. Really any vegetable or fruit works at this point.
At 11 months:
- Add tomatoes, citrus, cereal and bagels
At 1 year old:
- Add whole milk and whole eggs at this time.
Be sure to ask your pediatrician at all your baby well visits what foods are appropriate for your child at each stage and how the doctor recommends you prepare them based on your baby's development.
