“Babe’s Birthday Bash is a night where we gather together and celebrate the birthday of Baltimore-born Babe Ruth, easily the greatest baseball player of all time,” said Mike Gibbons, executive director of the Babe Ruth Birthplace Foundation.
What: The Babe Ruth Birthplace Foundation announced that it will host its annual “Babe’s Birthday Bash.” The event will celebrate the 118th anniversary of Ruth’s birth in Baltimore on February 6, 1895. Celebration of the Babe Ruth’s 118th Birthday will include admission to Sports Legends Museum’s galleries, unlimited food and beverages, appearances by local professional athletes and more. “With the presence of local professional and amateur athletes and coaches, it also serves as a night to reflect on and pay tribute to the rich sports heritage in the state of Maryland,” said Mike Gibbons, executive director of the Babe Ruth Birthplace Foundation.”
Did you know? The Babe Ruth Birthplace Foundation owns and operates both Sports Legends Museum at Camden Yards and the Babe Ruth Birthplace.
In addition to commemorating Ruth’s birthday, the Museum will present a prominent figure who has made a difference in the landscape of Maryland sports and the community with the 2013 Babe Ruth Museum Community Service Award. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Babe Ruth Birthplace Foundation.

Who: Tickets to the event are $45 each for members of the Museum; $55 a piece for the general public when purchased in advance; and $60 each at-the-door on the night of the event. Ten or more tickets purchased together are discounted at $40 each. Remember there will be free parking at Camden Yards.
