B-Mets GM named N.Y. Mets Minor League Executive of the Year

At the Baseball Winter Meetings in Dallas Texas, Jim Weed, the General Manager of the Binghamton Mets was elected as the New York Mets Minor League Executive of the Year.


Jon Miller, the New York Mets Assistant Director of Minor League Relations, said “Jim Weed has been a valued part of the Met organization for the past 15 years. His efforts in supporting our player development needs in addition to supporting his own community during their recent flood relief efforts make us proud to recognize Jim as the New York Mets Minor League Executive of the Year.”

B-Mets President Michael Urda echoed, “Jim Weed is the best example to show people what they can accomplish through hard work and dedication. Jim being recognized for the New York Mets most prestigious award is a credit to both Jim Weed and the incredible staff that supports him.”
