Israeli-born Ben-Shahar is accused of attempting to steal $400 worth of groceries and was detained by citizen's arrest.

Ben-Shahar has also held small roles on other television series' such as "Chuck" and "Weeds." Now it looks like her new role will be that of inmate if convicted.

It is unclear if this is a case of not being able to afford food. Ben-Shahar starred in a 2009 Doritos commercial and then won her first small role on the CW's "90210." She has never had a starring or even a major recurring role in any television series.
