The 21st annual Environmental Film Festival in the Nation’s Capital is screening two family-friendly films at the Avalon Theater during this last weekend of the Festival, which ends on March 24.

The adventurous live action and award winning film for children, Otter 501, chronicles the true story of a baby sea otter washed ashore and saved in Northern California. This heart-warming true story will have a first showing at 10:30 am on Saturday March 23rd.

The award winning musical film for all ages, Trash Dance, incorporates choreographer Allison Orr's dance with light, sound, and music to show the world that a garbage truck can “dance”. It screens at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 23rd.
