Avril Lavigne fans has unveiled the official video for her newly released single 'Let Me Go.'
The Canuck punk-pop princess debuted the 5:06 minute clip of her newly released power ballad, which features Lavigne's hubby, Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger, in an update posted Oct. 15 on her official Facebook page.
The video opens with a shot of a groundskeeper raking leaves outside an estate, cutting to Lavigne sitting inside as the song begins, playing the piano, dressed in a black evening gown.
The camera pans between the singer at the piano, or wandering her home, which is in state of moving preparation. Kroeger appears, clad in a black suit to handle lead vocals on the second verse, and also contributes call back vocals on the middle eight, as well as harmony on the choruses.
Co-written by Lavigne, Kroeger (who also produced the song) and David Hodges, the song is being released as the 'Sk8terboi' hitmakers first official single from her upcoming self-titled album, following the release of two promotional singles single 'Here's to Never Growing Up' and its follow-up 'Rock N Roll.'
Fans can check out the video at Lavigne's Facebook page.
The newly wed couple appeared yesterday on "Entertainment Tonight" from set of the 'Let Me Go' video shoot and also appeared on the "The Howard Stern Show" to promote the new single.
The song is available for download on iTunes,
