How often do you delete, spam, or move emails into a specially titled folder from your inbox? There are a lot of email users who don’t think twice about using the system of delete, remove, spam, or file. This is why a lot of users have unread emails piling up and accumulating space.

A good New Year’s resolution is one that involves cleaning up things in your life that are cluttered. A lot of people overlook their email inbox. How many unread, unopened emails do you have? The majority of the emails are spam—more than likely which means that you will continue to accumulate spam if you do nothing about it.

How often do you check your email accounts? The more often you check your email the less chance you have of a hacker getting into your account and telling all your friends “you’re in Brazil” and after being mugged by criminals on the street you are in need of money.

Here’s the point, if you are more active in your email account the less problems you will have from sneaky hackers looking for any opportunity to worm in. It’s because if there is anything “shady” going on you will notice it quicker that an occasional email user. Also, remember that aside from deleting, spamming, moving emails into special folders—changing your password every six months is another way to avoid being hacked.
