Can it really be true? Is Aviva Drescher's 76-year-old dad, George Teichner, and his 25-year-old fiancee, Dana Lavette Cody, really getting their own spin-off show? Radar Online reported on Tuesday, June 24, that not only is it a possibility, it's a reality.

According to an insider, the show, which doesn't yet have a title, will begin filming in August. Not surprisingly, the focus of the show will be George's relationship with Dana and their upcoming wedding. The insider explained that while "The Real Housewives of New York City" isn't doing so well in the ratings game, George and Cody are breakout stars who are able to get strong reactions from people.

Since their appearance on "Real Housewives," many have speculated that Cody is just a gold digger, that she and/or George are hungry for fame, and that Aviva is just desperate for a storyline. Apparently, Bravo believes that people will tune in to satisfy their curiosities about the couple and to see whether they're for real or not.

While George and Cody are likely celebrating their spin-off opportunity, one person who is not so happy is Aviva. According to the insider, Aviva had no idea that there was the possibility of her dad and future stepmother getting their own show. While she of course will be featured on the spin-off, no doubt helping Cody through the wedding preparations and giving her some much needed advice when it comes to dealing with her dad, she's "a bit jealous" that Cody's getting her own show.

Aviva once said that she thought Cody would be a great new housewife for "The Real Housewives of New York City." Unbeknownst to Aviva, Cody doesn't need the housewives!

While neither Aviva Drescher, Dana Lavette Cody nor George Teichner have publicly confirmed the spin-off news, Cody did provide a hint that people will be seeing her on TV soon. Hours before the news broke, she posted a photo on her Instagram account showing her being filmed in her new Tippie Toes Los Angeles location, perhaps as preparation for the official filming that begins in August.
