Avery has started canning their beers and the last of their canned offerings has just been announced: Joe's Premium American Pilsner.  This contemporary rendition of a classic style features noble hops for a floral character along with a clean finish.  Joe's will be canned along with Ellie's Brown, White Rascal, and the Avery IPA.  The release party will be Saturday, June 19th starting at noon and ending around 6pm.  The beer will be available in cans and on draft in liquor stores starting in mid-July.

Avery will also be introducing their new labels and packaging with a party on the 25th of June at the tap room.  The new labels feature the classic Avery artwork in cleaner lines and on a shield.  Examples are shown in a slideshow below.

This seems like a rad event. Get your hands on the first of the canned Avery beer. I am stoked and looking forward to reviewing these beers.
