Aventura Wine and Food Festival 2014

Wine and food, who could complain about those two together? On Sunday, January 12th, Aventura hosted their 1st annual Wine and Food Festival in Gulfstream Park. Among the restaurants that were there were Brio Tuscan Grille, Jimmy Johns, III Forks and many more! The best part of the festival was that it was a beautiful day so waiting in the lines was a breeze for all those that attended.

Miami-Dade Humane Society also made an appearance for any of the many guest to make an adoption for the four dogs they had there. Another great point in the festival was that it was not just for adults! Towards the end of the booths, there was a children’s section complete with a bounce house and a “Make your own Trail Mix” bar.

After all the food and wine that could be consumed was over and done, people were still able to socialize with friends at the bar tables in the middle under the shade and end their night listening to a live band on stage playing all the greatest cover songs.

If you were not able to attend this year’s festivities, keep up with their site and mark your calendars for the next event. Feel free to check out their site at: www.aventurawineandfood.com
