The weather is cooler, and days are shorter. The leaves are changing colors, and kids are going back to school. These are all the signs of autumn. Another indication that fall is on its way is the arrival of Anniversary Blend and Pumpkin Spice Lattes to Starbucks stores.

Starbucks Anniversary Blend was created in 1996 in honor of Starbucks 25th anniversary. It was so popular among bold coffee drinkers that Starbucks decided to offer the signature whole bean coffee every year. Starbucks Anniversary Blend is a mix of Asia Pacific and Aged Indonesian coffees. If you like your coffee full-bodied and bold with a hint of spiciness, this blend is for you.

If you are interested in pairing Anniversary Blend with your favorite foods, think about the flavors of maple, oats, cinnamon and butter. The coffee compliments a maple nut scone or cinnamon roll perfectly.

Nothing tastes more like fall than a delicious piece of pumpkin pie topped with fresh whipped cream. And if you’ve dreamed of getting your pumpkin pie on the go, now you can. Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte is a blend of pumpkin and fall spice flavors combined with espresso and steamed milk topped with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spices.

Sounds yummy but loaded with calories? Try a tall (12 oz) with non-fat milk and hold the whipped cream. You are looking at about 200 calories or for a treat, keep the whipped cream add another 60 calories.

So put on your knit hat and scarf, grab a Pumpkin Spice Latte and stroll through the colored leaves. Fall is definitely in the air.
