The Nissan Skyline GT-R is built for Wangan style racing. Wangan racing is very similar to the conditions of Autobahn top speed racing but with much less air flow. The open road design of Autobahn style racing with hills, curves, and thicker traffic is more challenging longer than the short Wangan bursts. Autobahn tests the vehicles endurance and allows drivers to go WOT tank by tank. Amazing! America could use an Autobahn type system, maybe one day. Until then, we can watch the awesome following footage of a Nissan Skyline GT-R racing a Porsche 977 turbo!
