A hate letter was sent to the family of Max Begley, who is autistic, is creating a buzz online this week.
The family of the 13-year-old boy who lives in Canada received the anonymous letter that states the boy should be "euthanized" and is a "nuisance" to those who live in the neighborhood.
Written on pink paper, it was signed, "One p---ed off mother."
The hate letter quickly went viral on Twitter this week and there is an outpouring of support for Max Begley and his family.
Brad and MaryLynne Stella, of the country duo The Stellas, tweeted a link to a photo of the letter and wrote, "This letter was anonymously slipped to our good friend regarding her autistic boy Max. This is appalling.”
Fox News reports that the Stellas are friends with Karla Begley, the mother of the targeted boy, Max.
They tweeted out the letter after seeing it posted on Karla's Facebook page.
The shocking letter read, in part:
Personally, they should take whatever non retarded body parts he possesses and donate it to science,” the poison-penned letter sent Friday reads. “What right do you have to do this to hard working people!!!!!!! I HATE people like you who believe, just because you have a special needs kid, you are entitled to special treatment!!! ... Go live in a trailer in the woods or something with your wild animal kid...(do) the right thing and move or euthanize him.
MaryLynne Stella told Fox News that the letter "needed to be shared [on Twitter] ... awareness is key to change, and so we thought it would be a good thing to put it up and have people see how disturbing it was.”
