Panel of Experts Answer Parent’s Autism-Related Questions

WHAT: April is Autism Awareness Month and Irving-based Behavioral Innovations is hosting its first Autism Awareness Night. Behavioral Innovations invites all Dallas/Fort Worth-area parents to join the relaxed evening, ask questions and get straight-forward answers.

The panel of speakers includes Billy Edwards, a Behavioral Innovations’ Director of Development and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Dr. Richard Adams, a medical director of Pediatric Developmental Disabilities at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and Judith Jolly, the mother of child with Autism. These experts will answer questions, while mom and dad enjoy wine, cheese and meeting other parents.

WHY: Parents are faced with the challenge of being inundated with conflicting information from a variety of sources. They continue to have unanswered questions related to learning, communication milestones and Autism. Behavioral Innovations will attempt to address these questions in an open and relaxed atmosphere.
