Police are searching for a male suspect who attempted to attack a teenage girl in Powder Springs.

Authorities are searching for a man who attempted to a attack a teen jogger on March 29 in Powder Springs, MDJ reports. A composite sketch of the suspect was created and released yesterday afternoon by a Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) forensic artist.

According to the Cobb County Police Department, the teen girl was out for a jog at around 4:30 p.m. along Gaydon Road when a male attempted to attack her. The suspect approached her from behind and started running towards her. When he tried to grab her, she pushed him away. He then darted towards a four door pickup truck and got into the back seat. The driver of the truck sped away down Gaydon.

The suspect is described as a 6-foot-tall Caucasian male, around 18 to 20 years of age, weighing close to 150 pounds. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and jogging shorts.

The waiting truck that drove him away is described as a late model Dodge Ram with tinted windows and a Georgia license plate. The person driving the truck was not seen.
