Canton, Ga. - On Monday, Georgia authorities released the videotaped confession of Ryan Brunn, who admitted to killing 7-year-old Jorelys Rivera in the fall of 2011.

Jorelys was last seen around 5:00 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2, 2011 at the River Ridge apartment complex in Canton where she lived. She was at the playground with her teenage babysitter and had gone back to her apartment alone to retrieve refreshments for her friends when she vanished. Her battered body was found in the complex trash compactor on Dec. 5.

In court, Brunn said he lured Jorelys into a vacant apartment at the complex where he worked, making her lie on a mattress, undress and then get into a bathtub. He also admitted to then tying her hands behind her back, stuffing her mouth with a rag, putting tape on her face, slitting her throat and then beating her in the head. Brunn took her lifeless body and dumped it in the complex trash compactor, later leaving a note on the machine indicating the girl's body could be found inside.
