Lucas was born in the late 60s in Detroit, Mich., and throughout his childhood he found solace in a variety of ways to entertain himself. Comic books, "Star Wars" action figures, and television shows were among them.
As a teen, Lucas was faced with the choice of attending a public or a private high school. Due to the "tough environment" he would have been faced with in public school, he chose the private one.
However, since the private school was of a Ukrainian and Catholic "nature," and Lucas was neither, he struggled earning quality teen angst credibility. Note, at the time, he was baptized Catholic but did not practice it.
In college, Lucas changed his majors several times, and he decided to major in and graduate with an English degree.
Tom Lucas' past education paid off in many areas. One of those areas is in his current writing, that of authoring "Leather to the Corinthians."
"In December 2012 I released my first sci-fi novel, and I am trying to get the word out through different kinds of distribution and promotions."
Lucas' book can be found at Amazon.
