Author Priscilla Stuckey hosts January's BWW free literary salon in Boulder

If you've never attended a literary salon before, make 2013 the year that you do. The Boulder Writers' Workshop continues to host these gatherings for writers to share ideas with, learn from and inspire each other, inviting exciting guests to host them and lead the discussion. The first such gathering of the new year is right around the corner:

January Literary Salon
Host: Priscilla Stuckey
Saturday, January 26, 2013
10:30 AM - 12:00 Noon
Villas at the Atrium
(3350 30th Street, Boulder)

Priscilla Stuckey is, in her own words, "a writer, editor, scholar, and Earth-advocate whose passion for connecting with nature was reawakened as an adult." Her latest book, Kissed by a Fox, weaves a comprehensive story from a collection of essays "about our culture's attitudes toward nature--where they come from, how they helped us get into this ecological mess, and how changing our stories about nature might help us recover it." She'll open the salon with a few of these stories by reading from her book and inviting attendees' questions. After that, the discussion will undoubtedly drift in unexpected and delightful directions.
