About Author Ngaire Elder:
Ngaire Elder was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland and spent most of her childhood playing outside with her brother and imaginary friends and feasting on my granny's homecooking.
Fond memories include the magpie that followed me around my garden one summer and the day grandpa found the wild bunnies which I had captured and hidden in my bedroom.
After leaving school she went to college and university (part-time) and embarked on a career in the health and safety sector, qualifying in 1993.
Through her work she met her husband and they now have four children. Time is now spent looking after family, taking care of our collection of animals (3 dogs, 1 cat, 2 horses, 2 pigs, 3 ferrets and 1 budgie), nurturing our kitchen garden, learning Spanish, speaking Spanish, reading and writing.
01 May 2012 Hezlett Primary School, Co. Derry - BOOK EVENT - read the BRIMSTONE FOREST to the children, prize giving for the winners of the coloring-in competition, question time and classroom visits to hand out the Dragon Shortbread Cookies. Fantastic day - a truly enriching experience sharing with the children.
The Adventures of Cecilia Sparks – Brimstone Forest
The Adventures of Cecilia Spark is an adventuresome story suitable for the age group between four and nine years. The Author is from Spain which brings forth different terminology than the United States but the language differences are easily explainable to younger aged children.
The Brimstone Forest is the first book in this collection and finds Cecilia in her backyard at one moment and in the Brimstone Forest in the next. Cecilia has to use her own wits and the help of new found friends to make it back home.

The Adventures of Cecilia Sparks - The Mystical Mountains of Terra
The Mystical Mountains of Terra is the second book in this collection and finds Cecilia bored on a rainy day. But boring doesn't stay long as she finds herself in a race against time to secure the Sceptre of Malvado to is rightful owners. Along the way, she meets up with friends from her first adventure as well as making new ones. Cecilia is having to decide who can be trusted in this adventure of good and evil.
