Smart, sexy, full of thrills, THE BODY BUSINESS, a romantic suspense novel, is set in business-centric Houston and the serene rolling hills of Central Texas.

With a great job and a fantastic boyfriend, Samantha Newman thinks she has it all, until her best friend disappears and doubt creeps in. Forced to choose between the success she’s worked hard for and the hidden truth behind it, she risks everything and discovers a dark secret that could destroy her.

The book represents a second-act encore for multi-faceted author, Gay Yellen. After leaving her first career as a professional actress and film producer in Los Angeles to pursue her writing, Yellen became an award-winning journalist, magazine and book editor. A third act in corporate communications lasted fifteen years, until she was able to return to writing.

Yellen attributes the themes in THE BODY BUSINESS to her corporate experience. “The book peeks behind the curtain at the people working for a fictional, highly profitable but corrupt and dysfunctional company,” she says. “It’s meant to be a fun, enjoyable read. The early reviews have been really good.”

THE BODY BUSINESS, by Gay Yellen (Soul Mate Publishing; February 26, 2014) is available on Amazon. You can read the first pages for free at her website:
