Author Audrey Stallsmith’s free e-book

Audrey Stallsmith announced August 20, 2014 her e-book Love and Other Lunacies will be free to download through August 21, 2014 on Here is the link:

Stallsmith made the announcement at a picnic for western Pennsylvania writers. The picnic, scheduled to take place at Lake Wilhelm in Sandy Lake, Pennsylvania, was moved to Emmanuel Christian Church in Stoneboro, Pennsylvania because of rain. Each of the writers who attended had the opportunity to read to the others. Stallsmith read aloud “Law and Disorder”, an excerpt from Love and Other Lunacies. The other writers chuckled and out-right belly-laughed throughout the story, followed by hardy applause.

Another of my favorite stories from Love and Other Lunacies is “Big Game.” This book is a delightful way to relax and unwind. Take a mini-vacation with Love and Other Lunacies. There are nine stories in the compilation.

Other books by Stallsmith include the clever Thyme Will Tell Mysteries series: Rosemary for Remembrance, Marigolds for Mourning, and Roses for Regret, and non-fiction Inklings of Truth. Stallsmith has “earned a starred review in Booklist and a Top Pick from Romantic Times.”

Also among the group of writers attending the picnic were esteemed, award-winning poets Jack and Marjorie Wonner, and author Gloria Clover. The Wonners each read a poem. Clover peeked the interest of the group by reading chapter one of Dealing in Shadows Book Four of her Children of the King series published by Desert Breeze Publishing, Inc. The book was released this month on e-book and is available at:
