Anne Rice will be making a special appearance at Changing Hands Bookstore in Tempe, Arizona on Wednesday, February 29, 2012. An icon of modern vampire literature, Rice has sold more than 100 million books including “Interview with the Vampire” made famous on screen starring Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise.
Her latest novel, “The Wolf Gift” was released on February 13, 2012 and is climbing to the top of the supernatural and best seller lists. This is her first novel that covers the werewolf theme. In the past she has written about vampires, witches, and of course—ghosts.
This time Rice created a werewolf hero named Reuben Golding, a handsome young journalist residing in San Francisco, California. On a writing assignment in a remote location, he is attacked by what he calls a 'Man Wolf'—bestowing on him what Rice calls “the wolf gift.” He is faced with the dilemma of learning what his strengths and powers are, his limitations, and what he must do to learn to control it.
Anne Rice will visit the Tempe bookstore on Wednesday evening, February 29th, for a book signing of “The Wolf Gift” complete with a meet and greet. This is a great opportunity for fans to enjoy an up close and personal evening with author Rice.
