Tacos Tequilas, a Mexican eatery that recently opened in the Avondale neighborhood near Logan Square, wants you to get in on its daily specials of authentic Mexican street fare. Co-owners Jorge Manzano and Jorge Pizana, both from Tamaulipas, Mexico, bring four decades of experience in the restaurant industry to the new spot.
Food at Tacos Tequilas is meant to be shared and you can B.Y.O.T (Bring Your Own Tequila). Ejoy specials every day of the week: a variety of mole flavors, ranging from red mole to mango mole, with homemade tortillas for $9.95 on Mole Monday to two appetizers, or "botanas," for $15 every Sunday.
