Although he isn’t disclosing the exact location of the haunted house used in the filming of his film “The Hanover House”, Director Corey Norman says it is in Oxford Country in "the woods of western Maine”. The old farm house has seen its share of occupants, who have come and gone – but some, it seems are intent on staying, reports the Portland Daily Sun on Dec. 31.
Take the spooky little blond-haired boy who has been seen by the current occupants’ sons, as well as several visitors. Although he seems friendly, he reportedly is a bit unnerving.
Other events include floating orbs of colored lights that appear to float over people, a mysterious framed drawing that has been “moved” by an unseen hand on over 50 occasions, and an old man who reportedly shook a young man and his girlfriend awake.
Whether any of the paranormal activity from the home will make its way into the film is unknown, but Norman is delighted to have found an authentic haunted house to lend atmosphere to his film.
