For one California family, medical marijuana is an answer to their prayers.

Very interesting, thanks for the info. I have heard many stories of families with similar positive results using medical marijuana for their children.
I have not found much literature - if you know of some - would you share it through the email link in my bio? I will see if there is a story in it.
MEANWHILE ))) CAUTION TO CHILDREN AND PARENTS ---->>>>>
I am not suggesting that marijuana should be given to children at random. My sources have told me that it is a bad idea to use marijuana while the brain is still developing - as a general rule.....that means you teenagers!!! So as in any medication - it is important to include the physician in the conversation. It is the goal of this column to help make medical marijuana legal in all 50 states so that legal conversation can take place. The fact that the patient doctor conversation is considered illegal is one of the factors that contributes to children abusing marijuana.
In truth - the conversation itself is not illegal - Conant v. Walters. But once you have had the conversation the doctor can't prescribe marijuana unless your state permits.
Stories are starting to emerge with parents giving their children goods with Cannabis in them. There isn't much documentation as the federal government talks out of both sides of their mouths. They claim that Cannabis has no medical value when in fact they have a patent for Cannabinoids that DO in fact have medicinal value.
Yet the federal government allows the FDA to approve medications that end up on a recall list but wont allow a PLANT to be used for pain, nausia, treatments for ailments.
I was touched by the fact that "Sam" and his family were given part of their lives back. It is sad that only 14 states allow the use of medical cannabis and the rest of the people in the states who don't have legislation to protect their sick and dying can not.
I agree Sherry, I find it insulting & ridiculous that doctors are quick to prescribe synthetic drugs that have lists of dangerous side effects a mile long-yet get all "We don't know the dangers of this" about marijuana.
Yes, the facts are known, but the government (and more importantly, the pharmacutical companies!) haven't figured out how they can legalize it with getting the most profit in their own pockets...I think THAT is what the true delay is in legalizing marijuana-for medical use & across the board for responsible adult recreational use.
It's always money over the real issue: people & their RIGHT to take NATURAL cures.
