EVANSVILLE, Ind. -- Aug. 25, 2011 -- Austin Schapker's performance last Friday night in Reitz's thrilling 21-20 overtime win over Henderson County, which included three catches for 104 yards and two touchdowns, inspired the readers of ReitzFootball.com to vote the senior as the Week 1 David Enterprises Player of the Week.

The voting was very close, as Schapker won it by only two votes over the team defense, who also played a big part in the Panthers' win.
