With the sad news of Michael Jackson's death, local businesses are responding with their own ways to remember and honor the passing of the King of Pop.
Cissi's Market & Wine Bar, at 1400 South Congress, is playing his music all day through June 28 and is also offering a selection of drinks (micheladas, sangria, house red, house white) for $5 each, in specific remembrance of The Jackson 5.
Michael bridged the divide between rock and soul. He was one of those rare people who was able to influence people of all genders, ages and races and Cissi's is happy to bring people together again in his honor.
Cissi's is open until 9pm on Mondays, 11pm Tuesday to Thursday, 12am on Friday and Saturday and 6pm on Sunday.
