If you're thin, white, have red hair, no tattoos, are conservative, and have a non-sarcastic sense of humor, than you could be the woman for Romeo Rose. He is a man that lives in Austin, Texas, and has launched Sleepless in Austin so that he can find the perfect woman. Austin.CultureMap reported on Sept. 24, 2013, that he is trying to break his dry spell and willing to pay $1500 for it to happen.
Rose's real name is Larry Busby and he is a 39-year-old that does legal work for General Motors. He's offering up a $1,500 finder's fee to anyone that can help him find his dream girl which he has had a problem doing since he works two jobs in a big city.
"I thought, if I can get everybody in Austin to know who I am, maybe they have a friend or relative that might also be single and be interested in me,' he said.
Sure, everyone has a type that they like to date, and so does Busby...err, Rose. The thing is that he didn't stop at just a few certain pieces of criteria for his perfect woman. It got a bit controversial on his website when he stated:
"I will not date a Black girl. I don't care if she looks like Halle Berry, I will not ever date a Black girl."
Some other races are alright, but he does want to make sure that any woman he dates has not had babies. Rose let it be known that "having kids does ruin a woman's body often times. They end up with stretchmarks." He also wants a woman that dresses "on the conservative side. Not like a slut, and not anything weird."
Along with the $1,500 finder's fee, Rose has said that he will throw on an additional $1,000 bonus if the woman found for him ends up marrying him.
For those that may be looking to date this "Romeo," make sure you also meet his criteria by not falling into these other categories that he has ruled out:
- Women who want children
- Those that wear glasses
- Woman still in touch with their exes
"It is my firm belief that most women on dating sites are so unattractive they just don't have many options in real life so they hide behind a screen. Or they just have too many issues," he writes.
"I really care about a woman. I'm not selfish and self-centered like these people say I am. All I care about is making a woman happy. Because then she will reciprocate and return the favor."
