Austin man invents bottle holder

Tell me if this sounds familiar. You are holding and feeding your baby while also trying to type an email or help your other child or eat your dinner or push a shopping cart. Even if your kids are older, I bet you can remember those days.

An Austinite, Joe Murillo, has invented a bottle holder that allows the baby to hold the bottle so she can feed herself and thus leaving your hands available to do other things. The original holder was a wire clothes hanger that he bent. The new design will fit about 90% of bottles and comes in several colors. It’s is $14.99 and available at lil-helper.com, Amazon and eBay. It rests on the baby’s chest and is safe to use for newborns.

Murillo actually invented this about 22 years ago, but just recently joined with Austin product development company, Be Known. They helped him launch and market his product.
