Austin Mahone announces debut album ‘The Secret’ and summer tour

It is a big day for Austin Mahone, not only is it his 18th birthday on Friday (April 4), but he also announced the release date of his debut album and his first full headlining tour. He announced the big news on Elvis Duran and the Morning Show on Friday (April 4).

Austin’s debut album is called "The Secret" and will be released in just over a month on May 27. The 7 song album (plus bonus tracks) will feature his latest single “Mmm Yeah” featuring Pitbull as well as other big names.

The MTV Presents Austin Mahone Tour on the other hand will kick off on July 25th in San Antonio, Texas. For the tour he will be joined by Fifth Harmony (who just announced a headlining summer tour of their own), The Vamps (through August 21), Shawn Mendes, and Alex Angelo. Tickets for the tour go on sale April 11th and if you buy a ticket to his tour you will receive a free download of his album when it is released.

The tour will even be stopping by Denver, Austin takes the stage at 1st Bank Center in Broomfield on August 7. The special guests for that show will be The Vamps, Fifth Harmony, and Shawn Mendes.

“This is for my Mahomies. Thank you for supporting me and sticking with me all this time,” the 18-year-old singer said in a statement. “I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate my birthday than to be able to announce new music and a huge tour for all you guys!”
