Austin City Limits Music Festival for 2014 reported yesterday, April 22 that tickets went on sale and two level passes for both weekends are already gone. Ticket sales are selling fast with headliners like Eminem, Outkast, Pearl Jam and many other evergreen, and current top performing artists. So far the passes sold out include; the $50 Souvenir 3-day pass, and the $200 Early Bird 3-day pass. Don’t choke on your Starbucks just yet, quantities are still available starting at $225.

Festival-goers can relax on 46-acres of lush green landscaping in Zilker Park, nestled next to Austin’s picturesque cityscape. Better yet, local food, arts, and hotels are just steps away from the Austin City Limits jamboree. If you want to catch a live performance by one of the world’s superb talented rap artists, Eminem; don’t worry about choosing which weekend, because he’s a headliner for both. According to his latest twitter account @Eminem, “DO-SI-DO..I’m at both weekends of @aclfestival - Oct. 3-5 and Oct. 10-12!” However, the music lineup doesn’t just stop there.

This is the 13th festival that will host a diversity of music that appeals to all music lovers. News reports on Tuesday indicated headliners like Skrillex, Calvin Harris, and The Replacements are scheduled. Talk about timeless, The Replacements have been around since the 80’s. Rolling Stone even claims them as, “the forefathers of American indie rock in the Eighties...a band that’s being rediscovered by new listeners and artists year after year.”

Nevertheless, the Austin City Limits Music Festival isn’t just bringing music performers that are evergreen and timeless, it’s also ushering in fresh, and current award winning artists like, Lorde. This year she holds the most Billboard Music Award nominations. Music junkies are already posting to ACL’s twitter account thanking them for coordinating two epic weekends.

“Thanks,” said @El_Arroyo. Who posted a photo that reads, “Outkast, Eminem, and Pearl Jam not bad ACL, not bad at all!”
