Austin and America remembers Chris Kyle (Photos)

Service to one's country is the highest honor anyone can achieve. However, having high achievements and accolades to go along with that dedicated service, in relation to saving comrades lives is a masterful accomplishment. This is the life story of Chris Kyle and how he forever changed the history of the United States navy in his tours to Iraq and Afghanistan. Listening to the stories of veterans and troops who served with Kyle, one can see what his one life, made a difference in so many other individuals’ lives.

Imagine going off to war and having that certainty that everything will be alright, in that one knows they are being protected by the greatest snipers and shooters the world has ever produced. Chris Kyle was that perfect soldier that help instilled that sense of security and assurance in the minds, souls, and hearts of troops that served with him. With 160 confirmed kills, Kyle went above and beyond to protect and serve his country. How unfortunate and sad it was for him to lose his life, going out of his way to help a former comrade. A sad event in our nation today, lying to rest a hero, while our nation battle in the political trenches debating on the issue of gun control. Rest in peace Chris Kyle, your nation loves you, thank you for your service.
