Ashley Moser suffered a miscarriage last night July 28. She is the mother Veronica Moser-Sulliver the six year old who was shot and killed in Aurora theater shooting last Friday.
Ashley Moser was shot several times, one of them in the abdomen. She went through another surgery on Saturday and the unborn child was lost as a result. Her miscarriage was a result from the critical injuries from the shooting.
Colorado law does not allow the suspect to be charged in the unborn child's death.
Ashley Moser's 6-year-old daughter, Veronica, died in the same shooting.
"Tragically, the extreme trauma she sustained also caused a miscarriage." the family said in a statement released last night "We want to send a special thank you to the courageous HEROES of law enforcement, other first responders, paramedics, and doctors and nurses who have all gone beyond the call-of-duty in caring for our daughter, granddaughter and all of the other victims of this tragic event."
Conflicting reports as to whether Ashley Mosley knows about her 6-year old daughter's death are still floating around. One claimed Veronica's father told her last week and last nights report saying that Ashley still hadn't been told about her daughter's death.

Funeral arrangements for Veronica are still pending.
Multiple funds have been setup for all of the victims and survivors of the Aurora shooting. A group of Aurora residents and supporters are busy forming a group called "Stand Up For Aurora". The group has already planned two benefit performances at The Comedy Works in South Denver to help to heal the wounds of the Aurora community.
