Aurelia's Fury from 'Gatecrash' revealed (Photos)

Aurelia's Fury is one of the newest "Magic: The Gathering" cards spoiled today Jan. 11, 2013 from Wizards of the Coast's upcoming expert expansion set "Gatecrash." Revealed in an article by Mark Purvis on MagicTheGathering.com, Aurelia's Fury is a versatile tool for Boros players to use against their opponents.

Aurelia's Fury - XRW
Instant (Mythic Rare)
Aurelia's Fury deals X damage divided as you choose among any number of target creatures and/or players. Tap each creature dealt damage this way. Players dealt damage this way can't cast noncreature spells this turn.

You really don't want to piss off Aurelia, the Warleader. When she gets angry, players die.

Aurelia's Fury can destroy several small creatures, take out one large threat, tap all your opponent's blockers to make way for an alpha-strike, or be used directly on your adversary to burn them out.

It's important to note that Aurelia's Fury can be used to prevent a player from casting spells on your turn. Three mana may be a lot to stop your opponent from playing their instants (which they can still use in response), and there's no doubt they'll Think Twice before playing that Rewind or Negate.

How will you use Aurelia's Fury?
