Launched in June of this year along with the Augusto Reyes 6th Generation blend, the Augusto Reyes Signature was made as a gift to cigar lovers everywhere.

This Signature’s wrapper was medium brown and finely veined. The cigar felt smooth to the touch with just the right amount of give.

The aroma of tobacco was on the foot, as well as the. The pre-light draw was very smooth and easy.

As I smoked the cigar it gave off a good amount of smoke. The Augusto Reyes Signature burned evenly and had a firm ash. Unlike the 6th Generation blend, there was no pepper sensation on the exhale. Instead, there was a very smooth, tobacco flavor.

Halfway into the second third of the cigar, I picked up on some coffee and tobacco. Again, the exhale sensation was mild.
As I got into the final third, the cigar was still burning well. The flavors were basically unchanged.

When all is said and done, the Augusto Reyes Signature is a very good medium bodied, medium strength cigar. The flavors are smooth and the cigar burns cool to the nub. I would certainly recommend this blend (and actually have a few times this past week) to anyone who enjoys Dominican Puros.
