Throughout the month the 27-hole full service facility will light up the lives of players via a two-for-one green fee offer (with the rental of a power cart) running on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between noon and 3 p.m. The deal excludes holidays and cannot be combined with other offers.
And when the heat is on, Emerald Links will cool down power cart fees by knocking the price to rent a ride to $20 for 18 holes and $10 for nine holes. That’s a saving of $10 for 18 holes and $5 for nine holes.
Meanwhile, in the Bunker Restaurant, a free bowl of chips and salsa will make it to the table when a refreshing beverage is purchased.
Since August is Blueberry Month, players will be able to close out their meals by taking advantage of a sweet dessert special. All blueberry desserts are $1.99 and $2.98 when ice cream arrives as the side or on top.
Parents looking for an activity for their boys and girls in August are invited to contact the pro shop to receive details on the course’s golf camps for kids.
Emerald Links Golf and Country Club has challenged members and green fee players since 1990 when the semi-private championship course made its debut after being envisioned and built by architect Graham Cooke and the Patterson family.
The layout has earned a well-deserved reputation for welcoming golfers with consistently outstanding conditions.
The bent grass tees lead to the fairways and greens that meander through mature wooded areas dotted by lakes and ponds.
Sixteen of the 27 holes have water in play and there are more than 75 bunkers that line the fairways or border the pristine greens.
Three sets of tee boxes measure from a maximum of 6,605 yards, with the forward sets playing from as short as 5,759 yards.
Emerald Links Golf and Country Club is located just south of the capital at 6357 Emerald Links Dr. in Greely.
