The month of August was pretty wonderful for Mainers, and sunrise was no exception. In keeping with my pattern of providing a synopsis of dawn photos for each month, here are some photos of the August sunrise in our beautiful home state of Maine.
Summer dawn is a cool respite from the heat of day, a peaceful time of contemplation. Bare toes bathe in the wet grass; bare arms relax under the subtle caresses of gentle air. It is worth remembering.
I hope you will enjoy the new slideshow format, which allows me to include more than the usual three photographs. Enjoy the show, and let it bring back memories of the best of your summer of 2010.
