The month kicked off with A Simple Complex bringing together several bands from around the area and America’s got Talent’s famed Rob Benton. Milly’s and A simple Complex always bring you top notch shows and there was no disappointment this month.
If that wasn’t enough, the kickoff weekend to the month of August continued with Hot Like Fire performing at Salisbury’s Surf Side Five. Kelly B is always looking to brighten up the stage with new talent and she brought a young rapper, A. Grace, to the stage to help launch his latest CD.
Adam Ezra Group was bringing it all over the area in August, notably at the Rocking Horse Studios presents at the Capital Center for the Arts in Concord and then the much anticipated annual Ramble at Salisbury Beach. AEG performed along with Will Kindler and Dusty Gray in Concord where these acts help make it a night to remember. You can look to see more from the Rocking Horse Studios in September as they put together another amazing event on the 28th at Bicentennial Sq. in Concord where all afternoon there will be a host of performers.
Frank FM, 106.3, held Live at Frank’s place at Tupelo Music Hall with Chris Trapper. Trapper, a Grammy nominated artist and currently the New England Music Awards Male performer of the year, delivered an incredible set and left the audience wanting September’s show to happen all that much more quickly – and it will be here this Wednesday night.
The 24th was one amazing day of music at the 4th annual Ramble. This year Adam had the proceeds going to the Homeless Veterans and the bands fans didn’t disappoint with their support. The talent was amazing all day long on both the New England Music Awards Stage and the main stage. Fittingly, Freevolt was absolutely brilliant and their lyrics made you think if you were living your life right, or if you were living it like you had another chance at it.
To end a great month of musical happenings, 92.5 The River hosted the Riverfest in Newburyport, MA. Kicking off the show was one of the local favorites AJ Edwards. AJ’s new band had to win their way into the festival’s opening act spot. Even though he had a revamped band, the music was as good as ever and the fans were right there to support him. On the VIP boat was one of Manchester’s favorite acts, and another nominee from last year’s New England Music Awards, MB Padfield. MB will be performing at this month’s Rocking Horse Studio presents.
September is shaping up to be another great month of music and entertainment and you should get out there and enjoy it!
