If summer has slipped by and you realized that you did want to go to college in the fall but you think it is too late to enroll-think again! Most local schools will accept enrollment up to the start of class. Montgomery County Community College has 2 year programs in many different majors. They have a very popular culinary arts major where enrollment raises by over 44% a year! Montco also has agreements with many major universities which means that all of your credits will transfer. In fact Drexel University offers classes right on Montco's campus! Classes are small and the teachers at Montco take time to get to know every student Montco accepts students up to the start of classes and they also have late start classes for students that need to start later in the fall. Of course Montco accepts students all year round. Montco also has ESL programs with both credit and non credit classes and continuing education for people who want to improve their skills or enter certificate programs. Penn State Abington has 2 and 4 year programs. They also have sensational travel abroad programs. Their faculty is top notch and their class sizes are small and welcoming. If you haven't been to their campus it is worth a trip. There are beautiful buildings comprised of amazing architecture nestled in an old growth woods. There are fountains and lion statues and seemingly endless stone staircases which will keep you in shape! Temple University Ambler Campus offers 2 and 4 year classes. Ambler is also a beautiful campus with a tremendous variety of flowers and plants. Students can enroll up to when classes start and throughout the year. The faculty is engaging and inspiring.
