On August 30, Albuquerque’s own Launchpad celebrates the birthdays of Chan (Suspended drummer) and Beast with a killer show put on by Deforme, Hate Engine, Morbid Justice, and Unleash the Baboon. Doors for this 21+ show open at 8 p.m., with the show scheduled from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Entry is $7 but is subject to change at the door.

Around since 1997, Albuquerque’s Launchpad has played host to bands of numerous genres, including punk, indie rock, and metal. The Launchpad is located on 618 Central Avenue Southwest, which is between 6th and 7th streets.
