On August 25, Albuquerque’s own Launchpad presents the Summer Throwdown, which features the following killer bands: The Conjuring, Cast in Your Shadow, Regicide, Ulterior Method, Endless Infection, Silver and High, Life Never Lost, Crystal Decadence, Disavowed, Against the Grain, Demanding the Facts, the Sweet Struggle, and Forever Formless. Doors for this all-ages show open at 4 p.m., with the show scheduled from 4:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Entry is $10 in advance and $15 at the door.

Around since 1997, Albuquerque’s Launchpad has played host to bands of numerous genres, including punk, indie rock, and metal. The Launchpad is located on 618 Central Avenue Southwest, which is between 6th and 7th streets.
