When Murray’s beautiful and wealthy dermatologist Dr. Parker mentions that she and her equally gorgeous friend Selima are interested in a ménage à trois, her patient Murray sees a potential financial opportunity after the recent closure of his bookshop. Murray convinces his lifelong friend Fioravante to consummate the deal and the two find themselves starting a thriving partnership involving the world’s oldest profession. Although Fioravante is initially hesitant to become a gigolo, he comes to realize there are worse ways to make money than making attention-starved women happy.

One of Fiorvante’s clients is Avigal, the widow of a revered Chasidic Rabbi, whom she married at a very young age. Twenty years later with six children, she yearns to experience something new outside of the cloistered world of the Chasidic community. Murray convinces Avigal to visit Fiorvante and his tender touch massaging her back awakens something inside she had never felt before, bringing her to tears. It also stirs up an unexpected reaction from Fiorvante -- feelings he did not know he was looking for. However their chaste meetings are interrupted by Dovi, a Chasidic man who has had feelings for Avigal since boyhood. Constricted by religion and insecurities, his passion takes the form of watchfulness over Avigal and her children. Seeing Avigal with Fiorvante arouses both his suspicions and his jealousy. Soon Murray and Fiorvante discover the pimping business is not so easy and things come to a head when the secular and Orthodox worlds collide.
