August 1 deadline for Fulbright Scholars applications

Are you a potential Fulbright Scholar? Do you hold a PhD, JD or other terminal degree? According to the Fulbright Scholar Catalog of Awards:

The core competition for 2015-2016 academic year grants is currently open. With the exception of the seminar offerings, the deadline for all awards is 11:59 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, Friday, August 1, 2014.

Fulbright Specialist Program

If the August 1, 2014 deadline of Friday 11:59PM is cutting it too close; you may still apply for the Fulbright Specialist Program (FSP). According to the website:

The Fulbright Specialist Program (FSP) promotes linkages between U.S. scholars and professionals and their counterparts at host institutions overseas. Grant Duration: Two- to six-weeks. Rolling Roster Application Deadline. - See more.

The FSP offers a generous list of disciplines and with its rolling deadlines presents realistic opportunity for aspiring applicants to become a Fulbright Scholar. Disciplines include:
