From 2006 to 2010, millions of Americans welcomed Audrina Patridge into their living rooms, coming to know her as the cool, sexy rocker girl on The Hills. Her image as the confident, beautiful girl next door is perfect for her new role as brand ambassador for Curve Appeal, a new fragrance from Elizabeth Arden. The fragrance is an extension of the Curve scent. It is a cool, spicy citrus scent with hints of suede and musk that evokes confidence and sex appeal. Audrina will be acting as a brand ambassador for the men’s Curve Appeal fragrance throughout the year.
What’s your favorite part about being a brand ambassador for Curve Appeal?
I’ve known about Curve since I was a teenager, so I wanted to partner with them to encourage all the guys out there to make sure that they smell great for all of the ladies. Personally, I love perfume. I love cologne, and I always have. I think it’s important that when you meet someone, especially a guy, that they smell good and not just be dressed well and carry themselves well. They have to have a good scent. I was really excited to work with Curve and be a part of it.
What is it about the fragrance that makes it stand out?
It’s super sexy, and it’s fresh. The women’s perfume smells amazing as well. The cologne for men is more like a cool citrus smell with a little bit of musk and a little bit of spice. It has a little of each. It’s not overpowering or too much. It’s just enough that someone could walk by you and you smell it and think, “Oh that smells so good.”
If a girl wanted her guy to try Curve Appeal, how would she convince him to switch?
It depends on the mood really. I think it’s good for the day time, and it’s very energizing. It’s sexy. It’s fresh. It’s not a deep, dark super romantic smell. It’s light, fresh and cool, and it definitely catches your attention when you wear it.
How would you describe the guy that wears this fragrance?
The guys that wear this fragrance are secure with themselves. They are confident. They don’t have to prove themselves, and have a good personality. When you smell it, you think of a guy that’s Mr. Perfect.
What advice would you give guys about choosing cologne?
Cologne (and perfume) smells different on everyone. It mixes with your own body chemicals so it may smell different on one guy and then smell different on your friend. Put it on your pulse points on your wrist and your neck and let it sink in a little bit, because it will smell different on everybody.
