The Hills star Audrina Patridge is in incredible shape, as her sexy bikini photos attest, but she works very hard to keep herself fit.
While the 5'7" brunette says good genes are partly responsible for her great physique, she also exercises daily to stay toned.
"My mom has a good body, so I’m lucky to have the body I have," Patridge, 25, recently told a tabloid.
She adds: "I’ve always been in shape; I’ve danced since I was really little and I was on the swim team."
WORKS OUT 5 DAYS A WEEK
Audrina works out at least five days a week and varies her routines to work all her muscle groups. Some days Patridge does laps in her pool, while on others she hikes, runs and lifts weights.
The key, she says, is just to stay active. "Even when I'm just sitting in front of the TV, I lift five-pound weights or do squats," Audrina says. "And I wear heels when I vacuum, because it works my calves and my butt."
PORTION CONTROL IS KEY
As for diet, Patridge says portion control is critical to staying slim. "I order what I want when I'm out, but I don't eat all of it," she says.
Audrina reportedly got breast implants a few years ago because she felt pressured to look a certain way in Hollywood.
"She think she has a banging body," an anonymous source recently told Us. "She's confident in her looks. I don't think she'll get more surgery."
AUDRINA MAY GET HER OWN REALITY SHOW
Audrina, who's developing her own reality TV show (with Survivor producer Mark Burnett), "feels she has to be perfect to continue her career in TV and film," added the source.
Hopefully, Patridge won't follow the example of her Hills co-star Heidi Montag, who underwent an astounding 10 plastic surgeries in one day.
Now that The Hills had wrapped up after six seasons, Audrina's first goal is to enjoy her summer.
"I plan on taking a vacation," she recently told MTV. "But other than that, I'm still going to castings and auditions for acting, definitely going to continue pushing for that."
Interestingly, Patridge has confirmed that she was approached last year to appear on Dancing With The Stars. But she declined because MTV execs were concerned about scheduling conflicts with The Hills.
Now that The Hills is over, Audrina may be interested in competing on DWTS in the near future. "Maybe next season!" she says.
